BioEUParks selected as one of the four success stories of Intelligent Energy – Europe programme


The project BioEUparks “Exploiting the potentialities of solid biomasses in EU Parks” was selected by the European Commission as one of four (among 47 programs) success stories of Intelligent Energy – Europe programme. The Greek partners of the project were the Laboratory of Forest Management of the Department of Forestry and Management of the Environment and Natural Resources of Democritus University of Thrace and the Management Body of Rodopi Mountain Range and our company was involved as their external expert .

The project results will be presented on 6 October in Brussels in the workshop organized by the European Commission entitled «Bioenergy in the EU: Converting policies into impacts». The purpose of the workshop is to evaluate the impact and success of the 47 bioenergy projects financed under the European programme Intelligent Energy Europe.
