Beginning of the LIFE Programme GrIn “Promoting urban integration of Green Infrastructure to improve climate governance in cities”

LIFE programme is the main European Union funding programme for environmental protection. Its main objective is to contribute to sustainable development and to achieve the objectives of “Europe 2020” strategy by supporting the implementation of the 7th Environment Action Programme and other EU strategies and projects on the environment and climate. It funds measures and projects with European added value for Member States.

HOMEOTECH is a partner (associated beneficiary) in the implementation of the project LIFE GrIn “Promoting urban integration of GReen INfrastructure to improve climate governance in cities”, from 15/06/2018 to 31/12/2021. The main objective of the project is to incorporate climate governance in the management of green infrastructure at local level through the establishment of an integrated policy framework focusing on Urban Green Areas.
