Study Visit of the project GREEN URBAN RESILIENCE in Kavala

In the context of activity 1.2. Creating a planning mechanism for climate change adaptation in BSB, on 14-16 May, the Municipality of Kavala hosted the first study visit of the project, an event attended by representatives from all partners.The event was officially marked by Mr. Theodoros Mouriadis, Mayor of Kavala, who declared the opening and welcomed the participants. In addition, Mr. Celal Inal, Deputy Mayor of Uzunköprü, graced the event with a short address, conveying his greetings and expressing his support for the initiative. The next steps of the project were presented by the coordinator, Ms. Senay Cekic, from Uzunköprü Municipality in a comprehensive session that included both technical and administrative-economic aspects.The visit concluded on 16 May 2025 with the presentation of the bioclimatic renovation projects completed by the Municipality of Kavala, which are part of the city's broader strategy to become a resilient and climate-neutral city.
